- What if you don't know anyone who can install the Powerdaylight?
Techcomlight, Powerdaylight's distributor, employs experienced installation specialists that can complete the necessary installation works for you should you wish. A warranty is provided for all installation works carried out by Techcomlight. Alternatively, we can often provide you with the contact details for a Powerdaylight installer in your area. - Can Powerdaylight daylight systems make turns?
Yes, 0-90 degree adjustable angles are available for the Powerdaylight Ø 25 cm, Ø 35 cm and Ø 53 cm systems.
- Can the Powerdaylight tubing be installed horizontally?
Yes, the Powerdaylight tubing can be used both horizontally and vertically.
- Can Powerdaylight's be installed through any roof?
Powerdaylight’s can be installed in almost all roof types. Through a flat or pitched roof, but also through, among other things, thatched roofs, corrugated iron roofs, composite panels, shed roofs and more. Powerdaylight’s can also be installed through the façade (vertical wall) of a building or the ground for underground spaces such as basements or cellars.
- How long does the installation of a Powerdaylight take?
An experienced installer will typically install a system in approximately 2 to 3 hours, in other cases it may take approximately 4 hours depending on the complexity of the application.
- Can Powerdaylights also be installed in damp rooms?
Thanks to Powerdaylight's excellent thermal properties and proprietary system seals, it is possible to install Powerdaylights into damp rooms (such as bathrooms, showrooms, ensuites etc). A unique integral filter system helps to keep Powerdaylights free of condensation.
- Can a Powerdaylight be installed in cold stores and freezers?
Yes, the IceTube has been specially developed for conditions where there are large temperature differences between the inside (-30 ° C) and outside (+30 ° C). This means that daylight can be used in cold stores, ski halls and skating rinks, for example.
